My 'Books To Read' List

SAMMY'S BOOK LIST

I asked followers and fellow bloggers for suggestions on books I might like to read in one of my previous blogs, so I will be using this page to keep track of books that have been suggested to me, or simply ones that I see or hear about and think that I might like to read. Please feel free to add any suggestions in a comment on any of my posts and I will happily add them here.

CURRENT BOOKS I AM READING

The Biography of Janni Kowalski ~ a Holocaust survivor. It is rather hard going though.....

Valentino Rossi's autobiography

50 shades of Grey - although I was given this book to read by my sister in law and it wasn't a personal choice - I didn't 'buy into it' then and if I ever read it I will  do so at my own pace and not just because it was given to me. I haven't actually opened this yet.....

RECOMMENDED BOOKS

Miranda Harts Autobiography ~ suggested by Hardup Hester

The Good Terrorist ~ suggested by KezLou

Found this book myself that I think I may enjoy reading.

My Brothers Voice, By: Stephen Nasser and Sherry Rosenthal

  1. Have you tried Doris Lessing?
She's a really good writer and her books are very thought provoking and filled with drama and political side lines. She is also quite autobiographical in the way she writes so you get a sense of being the character.

"The Good Terrorist is very good.

Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter are good to.

    Hope thats ok

  2. Thanks Kez. I will add the good terrorist to my list.

I also quite fancy the kite runner as well.

I read a book A few years ago about cowboys and wolves and the woman was a writer but can't remember what on earth it's called now!
